Finally I can Relax

I think finally I can now leave the rest of this blog to Shaun to update when he can find the time, I have to say I am disappointed with myself in the amount of time it has taken me to complete this endeavor of building his website and publishing his book, but I can now say it is done.

Although we had finished sometime back, the type face was so small on the book you needed a magnifying glass to read it!

Still thanks to Shaun’s stepsister this was rectified and it just needed me to get it printed, the delay was in part due to a major family distraction but a new year a fresh start was all it needed.

I also must thank my good friend Leigh Hurlock who did the books cover free of charge for me and without which would have not given it the prestige that it deserved, so thank you again.

All in all I hope people come to buy Shauns book and at the same time help his favorite charity, I therefore wish Shaun the best of luck for the future.

I am very excited to say that my book is now available to buy and read. My friend Steve here in Granada has worked tirelessly to set up this site and now if you go to the book page you can read the opening paragraphs and then buy it. So thanks to Steve because he has spent many hours fine tuning this website and setting up the blog for me and I am delighted, I am very pleased with the finished result.

Of course I would be very interested to hear your views on the book and I would be pleased to answer any questions you might want to ask me too, so have a read and then tell me what you think.

Semana Santa

Well here in Granada it is Semana Santa, Holy Week. Granada is famous for its processions and the whole city comes to a stop for the entire week, well, not surprising really considering that there are at least 5 processions each day for a week and there are some 250,000 people swarming all over the city seeking out the best places to see the processions. The processions are very long too with some of the longest lasting almost 12 hours. The pasos are also very elaborate and luckily this year the weather has held out so there has been no rain which would mean that the paso could not leave the church. Hello, This is my introduction to the blog so I’ll just let you know that I will be updating the blog with news and information both about the book and my life in Granada.
